Samantha Hegre
A Classical musician by trade, Samantha draws inspiration from unorthodox sources.

She fuses the extension & flow of ballet with the crisp isolations of the Suhaila Salimpour method of belly dance.

Believing that anything can be belly dance music, she has performed to a variety of sounds from bird songs to Brahms.

Shems
Shems is a Baltimore based belly dancer and appropriately to her location a fan of Edger Allen Poe.

Naimah
Naimah is known for her mysterious, gothic infused, fluid movements. Her moves have been compared to that of a "man eating plant" and a "mechanical snake". She is certified in the Piper Method School of Dance.

She has appeared in the music video for "Dark Hall" by the band Mindless Faith, and has been featured on the Fox 45 morning news in Baltimore.

She has performed in many venues in the past including The Five Seasons, The Red Maple, Taste of Morocco, Zeeba Lounge, DC Tribal Cafe, Charm City Tribal, Rakkasah, Artscape, and more. Naimah also performed and taught workshops at CCBC World Dance Festival and the BOCA Festival.

Troupe 'Hip'notic
Based waaay down in southern Maryland, Troupe ‘Hip’notic has been trying to describe their style since their formation in 2004, and had pretty much given up until they settled upon: “Eclectic Bellydance.” This term describes both the dancers’ personalities and their dance style perfectly. Troupe 'Hip'notic is an eclectic group of women who respectfully borrow from traditional music and belly dance, while incorporating contemporary music and dance styles into their performances.
