| Eugenia - A recent transplant to the Boston area from Washington, DC, Eugenia is co-director of the DC-Area pure American Tribal Style troupe Sammati, and also performs as a tribal fusion soloist. With a love of theatrics and “old school” hip hop, she constantly experiments with fusing both elements into her solo work, and attempts to create “dance that means something”. Her dance background includes substantive training in tribal fusion, hip hop, American Tribal Style, flamenco, and Level 1 certification in the Suhaila Salimpour format, and she has studied extensively with Mars of Devyani Dance Company and Asharah. Eugenia has regularly performed at DC-area venues such as Tribal Cafe, bebar, Palace of Wonders and previous Belly Horror shows, as well as festivals all over the country www.eugeniadance.com |
