Beth of Dakini - Dr. Beth Biller is a bellydancer, fire performer, and astrophysicist. Notable props she has used include Barbie dolls, chairs, parasols, strange glowing globes, and whips. She has opened for Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys, The Mission Creeps, and Linda Ronstadt, and she has also performed at Tribal Fest in Sebastopol, CA, Tribal Café in Los Angeles, Rakkasah in San Francisco, and Dance of the Dead in Tucson, Arizona. She was a founding member of the Midriff Crisis Bellydance Troupe in Arizona, and is the director of Dakini Dance Company in Hawaii. Beth was recently on The History Channel’s show “The Universe”, where she demonstrated the principles of orbital mechanics by spinning fire.
